Malachi (My Messenger) is not a title I chose for myself. It is the name I bear, and the charge I carry: to speak for the Lord when his people have stopped listening. I have come to the church of this age because it has grown weary of holiness without growing weary of sin. You gather, sing, and call him Lord. Yet you ask, “What is the gain in keeping His commandments?” You tolerate what he hates. You honor him with your lips while your offerings, marriages, pulpits, and priorities tell another story. The Lord does not change and neither has his standard. I do not come to build a brand, win a crowd, or bless what he has already condemned. I come to set the church right. You have said, “Where is the God of justice?” Hear this! He is coming. But first the messenger. First repentance. First the refining fire on all that is corrupt, and the healing for those who tremble at His word.
The messenger comes first. Then the day of the Lord.
